I thought it would be fun to ask a few authors, editors, publicists, and the like THE question and then post the answers:
What are you doing?
Why do I ask? Well there is a nifty new ‘social project’ type website (think MySpace but much much smaller and not blinky) called Twitter. And it gave me the idea to ask. You see, they ask people all over the world one question and only one:
What are you doing?
[Note: we are not connected in any way to Twitter. I am just a silly duckie. We do have a Twitter site that is updated every time we post at this blog and that displays on the public timeline .]

I just got home from a trip to Tacoma (a three hour drive and a two hour ferry ride) where I had lunch with a readers’ group, forty or so terrific women, who’ve been meeting once a month for over thirteen years, and we had a fabulous time, and if that’s a run on sentence it’s because I’m too tired to punctuate . . . π
Author Sherry Thomas
I just finished a majorly hot love scene in Delicious. So now my characters are going to chat about buttsecks–hehe, not. While I try to figure out the content of the earthshaking conversation they are going to have–oh, yeah, I see, it has to be in his point of view–I’m going to eat meat buns and porridge for breakfast.
So what about you? What are YOU Doing? Just a sentence. It is suppose to be under 140 characters, but hey, we are easy. What are you editing? What are you writing? What are you outlining? What are you reading? What are you promoting? Whatever you are doing (uh that you would want posted on the blog… but hey we have no rating so you go with your badself π ). Put it in the comments, email us, smoke signals, morse code, semaphor. Your choice.
Tell us… What are YOU doing?
I love this idea! I am currently trying to get my blog rounds done. I have a wedding to go to that will probably decimate a part of my heart tomorrow so I keep saying to myself over and over again ‘it’s not about you’. Rinse, repeat and trying not to puke from the stress. Ugh. Sunday afternoon will be a beautiful, splendiferous day.

Inn Boonsboro will have six guest rooms. Each named, and somewhat themed on six literary couples with happy endings. Try to guess who they are. LOL.
I’m working on revisions for BEFORE I WAKE, my first urban fantasy and putting together the synopsis for the next in that series. Also, trying not to let this new idea I have take up too much of my brain.
TTG and I are playing the tennis on our new Nintendo Wii, and I’m beating the pants off him!!
Watch out Karen! Who knows where THAT could lead! π
Hey it’s the weekend, which means anything goes, and if TTG let’s me win a few more matches, well let’s just say that it could be his lucky night! *g*
Right now, I’m reading your blog ;o) Fifteen minutes ago, I was working on The Missing a book for Berkley that will be out sometime in ’08 or ’09.
