Driven by Eve Kenin is the most recent title from the new Shomi line published by Dorchester. And it is the first book in the line to not use 1st person, so if that has been holding you back from trying Shomi out. Go and read the first chapter, it will leave you wanting more.
Something Dorchester is getting better and better at is bringing nifty special features to the readers. Some are amusing, some are informative, some are silly but most of them give you a better idea of if you would like the book.
A lil inside info on Driven from Eve Kenin
If I had to sum up SHOMI in three words, I’d say: Innovative. Riveting. Romance.
If I had to sum up DRIVEN, I’d use the line my editor coined: post-apocalyptic, trans-Siberian trucker tale. Surprising, and a little out there? Yeah, just a little. The truth is, this story kinda took me by surprise. When I started DRIVEN, I was writing dark historical Gothics (under the name Eve Silver) and a futuristic, kick-butt tale laced with sci-fi is about as far to the other end of the spectrum as a person can get.

Spent yesterday reading it, I did a squee in B&N on Wed night when I found it because I have this weird fascination with the whole truckers in the arctic thing.
Really liked the story, one or two nit picks, but would easily recommend it as a very different type of romance read.
Yay.. I just finished this book *yesterday* after going to the bookstore and buying it because of all the glowing reviews here and elsewhere. I loved it. And Wizard’s idea of romance did amuse me. He reminded me a little of Data on Star Trek.. all quizzical over a saying and trying to understand it in a literal sense. And sarcasm just goes past him. So fun to read.
I loved Driven! Very different from her historicals. I count it as one of the top reads I have read this summer!
I literally just finished reading Driven 15 minutes ago and loved it! The premise for the story is quite unique and refreshing for a romance novel. I found the relationship that grew between Raina and Wizard to be very believable. The secondary characters were great, too. I’m already looking for Eve Kenin’s next book! 🙂
