Southern Seduction by Alexandria Scott
In Alexandria Scott’s spellbinding novel, a surprise bequest offers three women a fresh start in America, new hope, and the romantic adventure of a lifetime…
Brooke Hammond crossed the Atlantic determined to make a success of the Louisiana plantation she inherited. Only one obstacle stands in her way—a devilishly charming, infernally arrogant obstacle named Travis Montgomery, co-owner of her estate. If Travis marries and produces an heir within the year, Moss Grove will be his—unless he marries Brooke. Seducing Travis and then sending him on his way should be simple, but the searing desire Brooke feels in his presence presents an unexpected complication…
Travis took his father’s dilapidated estate and turned it into a profitable enterprise, and no woman is going to claim it from him. So begins a contest of wits and will, where temptation and torrid kisses are the weapons of choice, and surrender the ultimate prize. But for two worthy opponents, winning the battle may mean losing everything that matters…
Is this another of JR Ward’s covers or just a play off them? Looks very familiar.
Haven’t read a Louisiana plantation historical in a while. It does explains the Sabrina Jeffries quote in a way though. For those of you that don’t know or remember she also wrote historicals under the name Debra Martin. Well and they are both in NC.
And yes I know who cares about cover quotes anyway. But Sabrina did say I would like it. And I am oh so sure she wouldn’t lie to me. If for not other reason than she would have to delete too many emails from me bitching about it.
Last I heard Alexandria Scott said she was working on a website.
I like these blue tone covers. Pretty.
That’s too funny. I was scrolling down the page and thought…huh, looks like a JR Ward cover, except the title is wrong. Then I saw your comment. Actually, it seems to me that a number of romance novels are following the same look recently. Jacqueline Frank’s covers look the same as well. Either that or the art department are all using the same stock photos.
You know those guys from 300 really should’ve posed for cover photos when they were done filming. Those abs could’ve made millions.
I hope everyone enjoys the book. It won’t be long.
