I mentioned this cover in this post.

When naïve bookworm and virgin Jocelyn Tolliver learns that her mother is the notorious madame of an elite London brothel she is stunned, but grants her mother’s dying wish and promises to take care of the brothel and its ladies. After an unexpected feud breaks out between the Crimson Belle and a rival brothel, Jocelyn needs a titled lover to gain political clout to protect her housemates so she befriends the handsome and wealthy Lord Colwick, who of course, views this as an invitation to seduce her…
Interesting! I’m looking forward to reading this! Is the author’s site back up?
Never mind…I just noticed the other post.
Can’t wait to read this. Like the cover too.
OK. I have kind of an “in” with this author. She is not online. Her blogging is … just a sad, sad affaire. She almost never answers email. But – I can get you in contact with her and twist her arm to drop in for a chat if you like. She is one of the funniest women I know. You’d like her. Just email me if you would like an introduction. I know ya’ll love hot historicals and no one writes them hotter than Renee.
That is very nice of you ferfe but I haven’t had a chance to read this yet. And doubt I will get to it soon as the list is long. I try to only do guest days or Q&A for books I have read and would recommend.
And even if I could get to it tomorrow and lurved it, Aug is booked (as is most of 2007). I do agree though she is very nice, when she finally gets to email you back *g*. And needs some serious help on her website.
But she gets points that she at least HAS one now.
I loved her first title and I can’t wait for this one.
I just hope the whole virgin heroine nieve aspect doesn’t overwhelm the storyline.
Oh My! I loooove the cover! A heroine who just knows what she’s doing! The dress is fabulous, the colour my second favourite and the hero a normal guy(I’m commiting the cardinal sin of “judging a book by its cover!) I just hope it mirrors the story.(even if the heroine is -yet- a virgin)
At RT Con 2006 in Daytona, Renee filled in for Robin Schone leading the erotica panels. She was so enjoyable that several of us discussed how much we were eagerly anticipating hearing her “voice” when “A Lady’s Pleasure” was released that Autumn (and I made a point of telling her so at the Saturday Signapalooza).
Well, I bought “A Lady’s Pleasure” as soon as it was released, enjoyed it very much, and am now eagerly awaiting “Madame’s Deception”.
