Raine Weaver, author of the delightful Let’s Pretend, FINALLY has a new book coming soon.
I can not begin to understand why a smart NY publisher hasn’t snatched her up yet. I still think we will see it happen. At a time when many ebook authors were suddenly finding NY beating on their door, I admit I kept expecting to see Raine’s name pop up on a deal.
And I am still waiting.
Finally there is word we will be getting something new or at least newish… so keep an eye out at Raine’s site, join her mailing list and of course check out the Southern Fried Chicas.
Or maybe she will just come tell us about it…
This is very timely, I’ve just started reading this book at last, and I must say, so far, so good!
Or maybe she will just come tell us about it…
Your wish is my command. 😀
I’m just so stunned that you DID this, and blushing all over the place!
The new book, to be e-pubbed by Samhain, is called “The Last Man On Earth”. Initially, it was offered as a download on my site, but I really love the story and wanted to put it out there.
It’s about two old friends, stranded by a winter storm, who come to believe they’re facing the End of Days.
So naturally, they decide to do what any frightened, civic-minded young couple would do.
They decide to have sex.
Unfortunately, old secrets, an unexpected adversary, alien invaders, and the Apocalypse all seem to be getting in the way…
I think it’ll be a while before it’s released, but I’ll certainly keep you up to date.
And thanks so much for the kind words!
YOu aren’t the only one who wishes NY would notice her 😀
I think you will likey karen. I think it is a very strong catagory. Raine is a good writer who writes all over from erotic to sexy to paranormal or contemp.
I want to say her story in Howl and Let’s Pretend are my faves but I havent’ read one.
Or the free reads, looks like there are still two on her site.
Last Man On Earth sound great, well I don’t like the title but I am just a pain in the ass like that *g*.
And I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it. Well I do expect a signed copy of your first NY release ;).
I didn’t think I was the only one, Amie, just you know… just the loudest voice *g*
Sybil…yell louder! 😀
Well, I do expect a signed copy of your first NY release…
You got it. 🙂
Thanks, ladies.
