Da Rulez:
1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
1. I am not the person to ask a question to if you don’t want to be told what I honestly think. More often than not, you don’t even have to ask first.
2. Someone makes some comment at least once a day about about how they want my hair or how I should never cut it. And I get at least one comment about how I should donate it. Yes I am going to cut it at some point.
3. Everyone should envy me because I am staying with Jane and KristieJ in Dallas for RWA. I shall try and make them behave.
4. I had a slight focus on the x-files for a few years. No really…
5. I tend to associate songs with people, books and events.
6. I bought my first computer when I was 18. My screen name was redwyne.
7. I am not one of those ‘shy’ in real life people, if anything I am more blunt in person than I am online. I know you are shocked. Sorry.
8. I have read a few books that won’t be out until next year.
okay… now to tag…
Lawson
Gwen
Jane (not that the brat will do it)
I am not the person to ask a question to if you don’t want to be told what I honestly think. More often than not, you don’t even have to ask first
no…. really? ;o)
I am not one of those ’shy’ in real life people, if anything I am more blunt in person than I am online. I know you are shocked. Sorry
well, shoot. lol.. no wonder I like you so much. I think we were separated at birth.
😛 Now wasn’t that fun…. *G*
Well, I’m staying with Adele Ashworth in Dallas. Is anyone jealous of me? Better yet, is anyone jealous of Adele? lol.
Kristie may have sent me a wee squee e-mail about the RWA but really, I shouldn’t say anything 😉
Okay, so you are honest and blunt but are you loud or more softly spoken. I’m pretty loud considering I didn’t speak much for the first 18 years of my life – I took my parents seriously when they said kids were meant to be seen and not heard. Man they hated my 18th birthday – now they ask where I came from.
CindyS
You will try and make Jane and KristieJ behave…Why is it that no matter how hard I try, I cannot believe that?
How long is your hair?
I had pretty much made up my mind that I wasn’t going to Dallas. But dang, you and Kristie will both be there? What to do, what to do….
Danggit. If I don’t have my own blog (gasp), can I post my answers here? And I don’t think I know 8-people with blogs who aren’t already doing this.
I’m such a Luddite when it comes to this blog stuff. I don’t even have a myspace page.
May – Her hair is to her tailbone. And it’s all the same length – no bangs or layers. And it’s THICK! Very pretty hair. On the brown side of auburn with lots of red.
Oh I’ll be cheering you on when you get it cut, Sybil!
I’ve long hair myself, and it’s been almost 9 years since I dared to cut it to chin length. It took me three years to get it cut from waist to mid-back, as it was. LOL.
1. I hate the sun and wear hats almost everyday outside.
2. My favorite milliner is Diane Hartley.
3. The only reason I know the word “milliner” is because I read historical romances.
4. When I eat sorbet I tell myself it is good for me because I am not eating icecream. (Hello, 70% fat free!).
5. I am scared of rooming with Sybil and KristieJ and I promise to behave.
6. Every one of my friends wants me to have another child.
7. My mother’s day gift would be hubby getting a vasectomy.
8. I think I am getting that anthropologie dress instead.
1. I’m smart intellectually, but pretty stupid when it comes to men in my life. It’s why I’ve been divorced almost 20-years.
2. I’m burned-out on my day job, but I’m too scared to quit and try something new.
3. Being a mom of a 2nd grader terrifies and thrills me by equal turns. No wonder I thought my mom was such a loon. I can totally identify with her now.
4. My child really is smarter and prettier.
5. I ADORE a good capuccino and would marry my espresso maker if it were legal.
6. I drive a really big, black, diesel pick-up truck. Not a Freudian thing. Much.
7. I live in a smallish town with cowboys and farmers, some so good looking I want to jump them on the spot, and I’m still single. Have I mentioned how bloody awful I am at picking the right man?
8. I’m pretty nice to everyone I meet, but I ripped my daughter’s dance teacher a new one the other day for not publishing a newsletter or calendar. It got so bad, I withdrew my kid and have told every parent I know that they should beware of that school. How stupid is that? It’s a DANCE school, for pity’s sake. Not the state senate!
. I am scared of rooming with Sybil and KristieJ and I promise to behave
LOL!! 😀
I just got done reading Charlene Teglia’s summer release: Wild Wild West and it totally makes me want to save a horse, ride a cowboy. Whew.

Now, it would make me cry too, Sybil.
When I cut it that short, I was ten. Many years ago, and my hair was never longer than mid-back–since the mother refused to let me grow it longer then.
Ok, here’s mine:
1. I’m a high school teacher (you can probably guess the subject) in real life and it makes me really not want to have children. That or be a proponent for abortions as birth control.
2. I get up every saturday morning and clean my apartment, ’cause that’s how my mother does it.
3. I have never lived outside of Texas in my life, though I’ve visited 28 other U.S. states, Mexico and 7 European countries.
4. I worked for the Boy Scouts of America for a time and I never shall again. They are FUBAR. Really.
5. I have a separate blog and a myspace, but I wouldn’t post this there.
6. I’m one of the people that tells Sybil she needs to cut her hair.
7. I used to be a shy person, yep really. But the I saw that life is hard and you need to be a bit jaded and cynical to get through it and all that shyness just melted away.
8. Like Gwen, I can’t seem to find the right guy, but then I’m a wee bit younger and have a bit more time. (Sorry Gwen)
Ok Syb, when are we going to visit Gwen? And go to the BierGarten?
Gahhh!!! Stabbed to the heart Lawson!
(stumbling away to drown my sorrows in a capuccino)
