I started writing when I was twelve. My mom will say it was before that, but that’s when I first remember it.

It was in Mr King’s history class (he was booooorrrriiinnggggg) and bored out of my mind, I started on a short story, written in my notebook with the school’s logo emblazoned on the front. Dark Alley.
No Longer Mine
Man, I thought I was brilliant. Two teenaged kids, a spokky, haunted street…thirty five hand written pages of what I thought was heart pounding suspense. Chances are it sucked, but since I let a friend read it and she never returned, I can’t be sure.

Throughout high school, I filled so many notebooks with stories, I can’t count them all. Some I finished. Some I didn’t. Some are written in the horrible purple ink that I can barely make out, and man, have I tried. Some of them actually have a decent story in there, or I think, but with that purple ink, I can’t hardly tell.

I finished my first long book in tenth grade, I think. A fantasy, 300 something typed pages. Then when I was 19, I wrote my first romance. No Longer Mine. The book isn’t one of my best, but considering it was written by a 19 year old with a serious drama queen syndrome, it’s probably not as bad as it could be.
The Hunters - Declan and Tori By Shiloh Walker
I started writing seriously when I was 25 or so. Seriously as in I decided to start trying to get published. I *THINK* I signed my first contract when I was 26, or thereabout. The first vampire book was The Hunters: Declan and Tori, published thru Ellora’s Cave, and the first of the Hunters stories. I’ve now written nine, with the eight releasing April 3 and the ninth releasing in July.
