Do you have a Romance debuting in 2007? I wanna know!!! Post here please or drop me an email.
And I mean REALLY a NEW author. Not ohhh look new name stuff. Yes, yes publishers may count you as ‘new’ but I am mean and I don’t. Sorry.
I want to break it down into two…
If you have never been published before (in any way under any name) and have an ebook coming out in 2007.
If you have never been published in print and have a book being published in 2007 that has not been previously e-published.
Make sense? So using Amie as an example. She can post or email me (subject DEBUT AUTHOR 2007 PRINT would be grand) because her books are the first she has had published in print.
I would like the title, author name, genre, summary, publisher and any links to you. Why am I asking? I am putting together a list! Upcoming books will have their own page. As well as I am doing a Debut Author week for 2007.
Before I send out invitation for said week… I wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed anything. One week… 7 days… is somewhat tough to norrow down…
IF I get mucho eresponse, have enough time to read seven more books before I send out invites… I may… do a line week for debut e-authors. It really just hit me on the way to work. So I am not sure if I can or not.
And hey, it doesn’t have to be your book, tell me about your CP, your BFF, your blog mate, something you saw on a blog.
The only thing I want for sure is they are NEW! If you know your publisher has already sent me info on you, no reason to send another email… unless you just wanna. Or if I have already contacted you and if you have a guest author day scheduled you will not be included in the line week.
If you would like to be on the list but would not like to be considered for the Debut Week, do let me know. And again you are welcome to post or to email. Thanks!
so are you saying I don’t count? LOL
How about Anna Campbell’s “Claiming the Courtesan” — comes out in April. I think this is a debut novel —– pubbed by Avon. There’s lots of talk about this one.
Anna Campbell is great. And a nut. I really enjoyed the book. She would be what I am looking for… only she has a guest day planned for March 26. So she will be on the list ;).
And yes AMIE I think you do.
How about Dionne Galace’s Skin to Skin, which is coming out from Samhain in August 2007?
I hear Dionne Galace is one hep kitty. You should totally plug her book. She’s so fucking new, she’s shiny!
Odd… never heard of her…
hmm I will look into it 😛
Sweet!! Hey – does that mean you’ve posted a review already on CTC? Or is it coming out close to her guest day?
lol closer to her day
I am working on getting sugar daddy and lover revealed up today
I am a brand new author. My very first book came out with Samhain publishing on January 23, 2007, and is scheduled to release in print March 20, 2007.
Lord Demon’s Delight is an erotic fantasy romance…”When she bargained with the devil of her dreams, they both found their heart’s delight.”
My web is http://www.giadawn.com, and you can read a blurb at http://www.samhainpublishing.com/excerpt/lord-demons-delight
Thank you so much for the opportunity to post here. Gia Dawn
I am a brand new author. I have an e-book coming out with Samhain Publishing, Ltd in July 2007. “Adrienne (Bron Universe Crossover)” is a fantasy romance with interracial themes… “He crossed dimensions to claim her as his queen; but her reign may destroy his world.” The blurb is at http://dreneebagy.com/adrienne.html.
Thanks for the chance to be seen,
D. Renee Bagby
PS – I borrowed from Gia Dawn’s post’s format since it seemed to work best. 🙂
I am a debut author with an e-book coming out with Samhain Publishing in August 2007. His Convenient Affair is a contemporary romance – “Chloe’s plans to expand her business don’t include losing her home … or her heart … to the ruthlessly attractive stranger who seems intent on acquiring both. ” My website is at http://www.tricia-jones.com
Thanks very much for this opportunity.

Dang – I missed the cut last November! But 2 good friends have debut historicals coming out this year:
Lord Sin, by Kalen Hughes, will be available from Zebra in May
Then there’s Monica McCarty, who has 3 Scottish Historicals coming out back to back from Ballantine this summer. They are:
Highlander Untamed (July 2007)
Highlander Unmasked (August 2007)
Highlander Unchained September 2007)
And having read all 4 in the draft stages, I can unreservedly say they all rock!
Jami you need to help your ol pal Monica McCarty… cuz her website needs uh TO BE.
Sez I.
LOL I want to read them as well 🙂
Thanks everyone… keep ’em coming 😉
