Kaitlyn‘s review of Ignite Me (Shatter Me, Book 3) by Tahereh Mafi
Young Adult published by HarperCollins 4 Feb 14
✨“Ignite my love, ignite.”✨
This book. THIS. BOOK. If you saw my stories, you saw me wildly compare my love for this book to my love of ACOMAF. I stand by that. Everything about this book was brilliant.
Juliette standing up for herself and taking what she wants is fantastic. I love her journey so much. And Aaron freaking Warner. A true top-tier book boyfriend – really sad I didn’t read about him sooner.
This is my favorite book of the year, I’m calling it. I don’t care that it’s only the second week of January. Nothing this year will top this book. Peak fantasy literature right here.
✨“And we are quotation marks, inverted and upside down, clinging to one another at the end of this life sentence.”✨
Summary:
With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.
