For those who don’t know, this series is basically Hogwarts on crack for adults and I wish it had been in my life sooner. If you’ve seen my stories lately you know these books have taken over my life. Here’s a look at my thought process during my reading:

-the writing is…questionable at times, but I’m too invested to care; -the bullying is ROUGH, but y’all warned me so I came prepared;
-am I really supposed to like any of these boys at some point?; -why are there no rules at this school? This is anarchy, complete chaos;
-why are the teachers okay with this? Oh it’s because they’re just as bad 😅; -if you pretend all the bullying isn’t happening this is a pretty cool place; -here we go, they might be starting to become likable…LOL never mind; -yeah I hate them all; -okay one guy is starting to get better…maybe…probably not

This is a hot mess and I love it. Fully on board the Zodiac Academy train. I’ve already chaotically binged the first three books in one week and am currently devouring Book 4. I’ve loved Tory and Darcy since day one and I’m starting to fall for the boys now too! Maybe…it’s complicated.

Books 2 and 3 had me laughing so much. Literally cackling. At one point I was asked why I was staring at my kindle and snorting. My answer was, “They put glitter in his crotch, he’s leaving a trail of glitter on the field.” 😂😂😂

The real MVP of Books 2 and 3, though, is Geraldine! I admit, I was skeptical of her in the first book, but this girl is my new favorite person on the planet. She definitely had me laughing out loud multiple times.

I want to talk about the relationship chaos in these two books, but I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll be vague. One second I’m like, “Oh, yay, I like him (insert any of the boys names) now!” And then the next I’m like, “Woooooow, I was dumb.” There is one who has been getting better more consistently than the others, and he’s definitely my favorite so far. (Blue means you 🥹) I have a feeling I’ll end up loving them all soon, though. It’s just right when they start to grow on me, they do something to piss me off again. In summary, my feelings for the ZA boys are still complicated.

100% love Darcy and Tory though, they just keep getting more awesome! These books man. They’re addicting. I’m in deep and have zero complaints. If you haven’t read ZA yet, definitely give it a try. If you read the first book and were on the fence, keep going! These two books are what cemented the addiction for me.

I can’t form complete sentences for next books, so here’s a vague list of my inner turmoil while reading. 🙃

Zodiac Academy Book 4 thoughts:
-Tory, girl, get it together; -Darius you’re a hot dragon shifter, I should be crazy about you by now, why can’t you let us love you?;
-Everything Geraldine says is ridiculous and I love it; -Lance Orion is officially bae, my dream guy is now a fae vampire professor. 😍;
-Seth, I hate you with a passion; -Y’all, the bullying is getting really old; -Thank you for finally having a nice moment, guys;
-WHAT?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Just hit us on all sides, why don’t ya

Zodiac Academy book 5 thoughts:
-The good times are clearly over and I hate everything
-Be careful what you wish for, the bullying may be gone, but my heart is in shreds. 😅
-Thank god for Geraldine still making me laugh
-I am so nervous this one good thing 💙 is going to blow up any second 😅
-Lol I did not see that coming 😂
-I have become a Pitball fan
-I hate these books. I am physically in pain.

Anyone who tells you to read these books is toxic…I whole heartedly recommend them 😂

I would like to be financially compensated for the emotional trauma this series is putting me through. In the spirit of keeping all these Zodiac Academy ramblings spoiler free, here are my vague book 6 thoughts:

This was depressing. I feel like all of my favorite things about this series were ripped away from me in this book. To be fair, there are new favorite things added and some of my old ones were brought back, so I guess I can’t really complain. ~We all know I still will tho~

The most surprising thing about book 6, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, is I hate a certain werewolf much less now. I haven’t exactly forgiven him, but I no longer wish to see him skewered over an open phoenix flame and roasted like a little hot dog. So there’s that.

I’m still incredibly obsessed and addicted to this series. If I were to be critical, I’d say Book 6 didn’t need to be nearly as long as it was. Also, I’m getting serious Series of Unfortunate Events vibes. Do we really need this many bad things to happen to everyone? Let them catch a break for a second!

I still think everyone should read this and join me in my misery. 😅 I promise it’s still fun…sometimes. 😅

Summary:

Zodiac Academy is a Dark Bully M/F Paranormal Romance series which follows Twins Tory and Darcy Vega, who find out they’re Fae and have to learn to harness their power while trying to defend their throne from the four Heirs who want to claim it in their place.

This series is set in Solaria 5 years after the Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac books and 5 years before the Supernatural Prison for Dark Fae books. Each series can be read alone and there are no spoilers for any of the books across the series, but there is some character crossover and hints and clues to the other books if you keep an eye out for them .
