Drake and Taylor’s first meeting is explosive. Technically it’s their second meeting, since they had actually met once during their teen years. Then Taylor was hauled away in handcuffs and Drake froze. Now Drake is prepared to go find and rescue Taylor, but he finds she’s the lead on the new mission he will give his all to be a part of. Romance and chemistry are a far second at this time.
It seems that Taylor holds all the cards this time around, and Drake is off his game, until suddenly things become clear and he finds that he’s been lied to and cheated on for a long time. The surprises just keep coming, and the last one is going to be devastating. Can these two dig themselves out and find a happily ever after?
The book was fast paced, Ian Taggart was his usual self, and it was good to catch up with some characters from previous books, as well as travel to London and visit the Garden. The suspense was really well done. I can’t wait for Kyle to finally figure out his stuff and go after his girl.
