The jury’s out, since she seems to be somewhat immune to all his attempts at flirting.
Lacey is a sexy vet whose passionate about saving abused dogs, putting the dogs first and her safety second, until one day she goes too far in her quest for justice, putting her life on the line. Fortunately, hunky Alex Trevino, who’s almost given up on getting a date with her, comes to her rescue. When he turns into a werewolf in front of her, he loses any ground he’s gained and moves back to zero base.
The trash talk and banter between the guys is so much fun as they dispense advice and rib Alex on his courtship. As Alex finally manages to finagle a reluctant Lacey into a date, things turn rough when her sister disappears shortly after. It seems that Lacey doesn’t really know everything that’s going on in her sister’s life.
The action heats up as the SWAT team, the police, and Lacey all race against the clock to get to the truth behind dirty and evil shenanigans going on. It all comes together really nicely, aided and abetted by the men and women who are now a part of the growing SWAT family.
