And no matter what line… it is always a good day to try a Diana Palmer. Can you guess that Harlequin Historical is my favorite line? (I even took off five authors because the list was getting too long) These are the lines I read most often. I may edit the post and add a few recommendation for other lines. I don’t read most of the inspirational lines (have tried a few of the historical line), so can’t recommend any there.
Happy Buying!
Maisey Yates and Sarah Morgan are my go-to Presents authors.
I have yet to read Sarah M. Anderson’s Supers, but I have really enjoyed her Desires.
SuperRomance: Would also recommend Jennifer Lohmann, Janice Kay Johnson and Molly O’Keefe.
Harlequin Historical: Marguerite Kaye, Julia Justiss, Blythe Gifford, Michelle Willingham and I’ve had good luck so far with newer writer, Elisabeth Hobbes.
YES! Elizabeth Hobbes and Nicole Locke are two HH authors I have added to my read list. Harper St.George is great too but I admit I have only read her westerns. For a while I was worried because the newer authors just didn’t pack the bunch of my old faves. Happy to see ‘good’ new blood.
Maisey Yates is fab. Her HQNs are some of my favorites and her Desires are just as good so I assume her HP are pretty good. Although some sound… rough.
I don’t think I have read Jennifer Lohmann but I think she is to be read…
For Jennifer Lohmann I recommend Winning Ruby Heart. I also really loved The First Move but it’s book 2 in a trilogy (although I think it stands alone very well – I know some folks are twitchy about reading series out of order).
For backlist HH: Cheryl Reavis. She also wrote contemporaries for Special Edition.
I’ve got both St. George and Locke in the HH TBR pile.
I have the Cheryl Reavis in print. Man she was good. Will check out Winning Ruby Heart.
