Dinca’s review of The Marshal’s Destiny (Irish Western Series, Book 1) by C.H. Admirand
Western Romance published by Amazon Digital Services 7 Apr 13
I find this a very nice story with a lot of action complicated by a bit of confusion. It’s interesting the way it all plays out. Never a dull moment. Funny with just the right amount of sexual tension for a delightful jaunt through the Colorado countryside. Ms. Admirand has captured my attention and I will be looking for more from her.
Maggie, aka Margaret Mary Flaherty, and Joshua Turner, U.S. Marshal, make an adorable couple and have a real struggle coming together. Maggie travels to Colorado from New York, hoping to save her brother’s ranch from a land grabber. When her stage coach is attacked she meets Joshua, along with her fate.
Joshua is in awe of the lovely, brave woman who has stolen his heart with one glance. Now he just needs to keep her alive and keep his head about him long enough to get the job done. Which is quite difficult when he discovers she has been kidnapped. Just how she figures into the happenings and who wants her dead has to be cleared up before he can get things settled between them.
I enjoyed this so much, I will be looking for more of Ms. Admirand’s works. The next in this Irish Western Series is The Rancher’s Heart. Look for a review on that book coming soon.
