Well, since I’m in a cowboy mood, y’all are really lucky today that I was able to pick more than one copy of All Jacked Up by Lorelei James at RWA last month. If you’ve not read any of her Rough Riders series, all I can say is you’re missin’ out!
Now, if you’re like me and you have to read a series in order, in this case – GET OVER IT!!! Because I can guarantee you after reading this book, you’ll glom this series like crazy to catch up. Then you’ll be a Lorelei James fan for life.
So tell me who your all-time favorite author is. Yes, I know that’s difficult, but there’s that one who you never miss when their books release, who you’d stand in line hours for if she was signing books at your local bookstore. Sometimes we have to make those tough decisions! 😉
Gaah… tough question!! I suppose I’m going to have to go with Jennifer Crusie, because anyone who can make me laugh that often that consistently is incredibly rare.
Nalini Singh. I’d love to go to a signing but the closest one to me this year was 2000 miles away! She’s a keeper.
Nora Roberts/JD Robb. I love her books. They are my go to feel good reads
Diana Gabaldon , I have gone to a book signing and stood in line for hours. She was worth it.
Just one??? Too hard. I pick Jill Shalvis. Perfect blend of romance, humor and emotion.
Picking one overall favourite? Impossible! Picking a favourite for each of the different genres I read is almost as difficult, but I’ll give it my best shot. Although I must admit, some of my top favourites in the romance genre could probably be considered my overall favourites, since I read them so much.
So, here goes nothing. I’d have to say Stephanie Laurens. She has so many different series going, but they are all interconnected, and her heros (both the primary one and the secondaries in each book) are the né plus ultra!
Later,
Lynn
I know I should put J.K. Rowling or J.R.R. Tolkien, but I have to say G.A Aiken aka Shelly Laurenston is my favorite author. That woman always makes me lol.
Hot cowboys hoo, whoo love them
Love leslie kelly
You are asking the impossible, Sandy – LOL! I have so many favorite authors, I just can’t pick one. I guess I should say Nora Roberts 🙂 By the way I love Lorelei James’ books! Good luck to the all the participates this contest! 🙂
I have many favorite authors to choose from. I think I would have to say Lori Foster because her books are great and they have the right amount of humor in them too. I do love Lorelei James’ books. Thank you for the contest!
Jill Shalvis!
