And yes, for those of you that did not notice, narrator Phil Gigante IS nominated in two different categories… cuz he’s just that freakin’ good. Of course, I think he was robbed and ALL his KMM Highlander’s audio books should have been nominated. *sniff*
…er… I mean… Congratulations and Good Luck to ALL the nominees!
BTW, I’m listening to Phil right now in KMM’s Kiss of the Highlander and let me tell you, it’s the best yet! Kiss better sweep the Audies NEXT year or I might send Gwen over to have a talk with those APA folks!
Wow! Good luck to all the nominees.
Go Phil!
Congrats to Adrian Paul.
Oops, sorry Sheryl, I didn’t even notice Adrian Paul’s name on the list. I had heard he was doing narration now, but didn’t realize he’d released anything yet. Didn’t mean to dis him, it’s just that some of us around here are a wee bit obsessed with Phil Gigante. [exchanges solidarity signs with Gail]
This is a great event organised by APA and congratulations to all nominees.I am fond of science fiction and I hope The Invasion of the Body might be the winner .Any ways all the best for every nominee.
Adrian Paul – the yummy Highlander – AND Claudia Black – Officer Aeryn Sun from FarScape.
Too cool. The geek inside is bouncing.
Someone that hangs out here at TGTBTU is a big Neil Gaiman fan but I can’t remember who. I think it’s cool that he was nominated for narrating his own book.
I know there were several more sci-fi audio book fans that chimed in during my Aural Pleasures series a while back.
