That I just bought The Marriage Bed, when it is on its way to me.
That I felt so badly when the walmart guy told me the cart FULL of books was going to be destroyed and I wanted to cry.
Or that I just bought four new books.

books books books!!! More Than a Scandal by Sari Robins was there as well, which I wanted until I saw it is a robin hood type plot. I am so not into that. So I will wait for reviews, or used. Sin of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon is out as well, but since I haven’t read a darkhunter novel yet I can’t buy it new. So either I need to read one or start looking for it used. They are always a bitch to find.
I would have bought Warrior by Nicole Jordan if I hadn’t just spent so much money on books for my lil sis on sunday. I need The River Devil as well, it is out! I didn’t know this. I thought it was an August release. I really need to balance my check book.
ACK and I must not forget to go pick up The Irish Devil I have on hold for cw.
le sigh I want to read The Marriage Bed now and not work. God it will suck if I hate the book after buying it twice. I am so not well, but we knew this.

Yea, it will probably be here shortly. What really makes me want to read it though, is at the moment, I’m reading Conor’s Way. Oh how I love this book. Conor – sigh. I got a copy for Giselle but she seems to be absent from the group for a while and I don’t have her address. It was sitting there and I swore I heard it say “read me, read me” I couldn’t ignore the pleadings and I’m doing all kinds of things to avoid reading the “other books I HAVE to read” cause that’s not going well.
*cry* my walmart didn’t have the new books out and so didnt have Sins of the Night yet.

lol oh well. I’m sure it’ll turn up soon and I do have plenty of other things to read. Waldenbooks has a good sale, so I plan to buy lots of July books. Okay, not lots, but more than I bought in June.
I don’t know why the guy told you the books would be destroyed. Anderson’s most likely just redistributes them. They could even sell them to a discount book store. I have the feeling that guy didn’t know what he was talking about. Especially since Walmart would need to issue a credit for them to get “their” money back.
LOL, now I feel like I need to call a friend who works at Walmart to double check.
That makes me feel better! He said the covers were ripped off and sent back and the books trashed.
If the covers were ripped off, then yeah, they’re being destroyed. They just need to covers to send back to get credit for them.
oh that just sucks. what’s strange is, when I worked for a company called longs drugs, we just put the books in a toat and scanned them and sent them back. We never defaced them. I’d think the book suppliers would want to get some money and just sell them to other retailers for less or something.
