I really like Nancy Warren's books, and have recently been on an old school reading kick (much to Sybil's dismay - sorry!) but I've simply been drawn to these books. I've been meaning to buy this book for a few years, and finally got around to doing it. The titles aren't the best things ever, but let's hear it for alliteration of sorts, and cute stories. Nancy Warren is one of my go-to authors, and I know I'm going to get a good story when I pick up one of her books. The Duets book has a very light tone and is a nice, fun read. Read more

Okay, taking a spoiled rich Brit whose parents have washed their hands of her, plopping her down in Austin, Texas where she'll open a business to do the dirty work of breaking up relationships for people?  I really didn't think it could be done.  Especially when I first met Chloe.  Dumb blonde was the first thing that flitted through my mind, on top of being so richly spoiled.  But props to Ms. Warren. I tend to really like Ms. Warren's books published by Brava, and the Blaze line is one of my favorites, so when she wrote a book for Blaze, it was the perfect match. Although the book started slowly for me, I'm glad I came back to it and gave it a chance. The book seems a bit cliché, but it isn't, and turned out to be a highly enjoyable read.

When I found out this was Chloe's story, Jack's little sister from Union Jack in the anthology British Bad Boys, also by Ms Warren, I had to read it. I didn't particularly like Chloe, but I loved Jack, and when I found out the story is set in Austin, Texas, I was sold. And you know what? It's a good thing. This is the best book I've read in a while.
