With Hotter than Hell, HarperCollins goes in a somewhat different direction from their previous Hell anthologies. These are erotic short stories rather than novellas. It's worth picking up if you're very fond of one of the authors or wish to experience several of the authors' work before buying their series. While all of the stories are well-written and none are truly awful, many of the stories are forgettable or unsatisfying. Read more

Paranormal romance anthology released by Harper 27 May 08
I enjoy anthologies because they are a good way to get a feel for an author's work. This made me more excited to read Weddings from Hell because of the four contributors, I had only read Terri Garey's work previously. I knew nothing about Maggie Shayne, but I have wanted to try both Jeaniene Frost and Kathryn Smith. Together the four created a fairly solid anthology with an even tone. Read more
