Liviania's review of Jinx (Bigtime, Book 3) by Jennifer Estep
Paranormal romance released by Berkley Sensation 2 Sep 08
My hot little hands finally snagged me a copy of Jinx, the latest in Estep's series of superhero contemporaries. After staring happily at the book for a few minutes I managed to actually begin reading it. Shortly after that I finished reading it. At least, it felt like a short time since Estep delivered just as much excitement and romance as she did in the previous two novels. Read more

Lawson’s review of Jinx (Bigtime #3) by Jennifer Estep
Paranormal romance released by Berkley Sensation 2 Sep 08
It’s no surprise that I’m a fan of Estep’s Bigtime superheroes. I loved Karma Girl and Hot Mama. She’s got a very creative world and it’s a new take for romance. Even the first person doesn’t bother me. Jinx continues all of this, with keeping in touch with members of the Fearless Five and introducing new supers in the mix. Read more

Liviania's review of Hot Mama (Bigtime #2) by Jennifer Estep
Paranormal romance release by Berkley 6 Nov 07, re-release 5 Aug 08
Immediately after finishing and loving Karma Girl, I instantly delved into the next Bigtime story. Estep kept me up way past my bedtime. Both books are fast paced, well plotted, and impossible (for me) to put down. [Ed.: float your cursor over the cover to the left to see the original cover.] Read more

Liviania’s review of Karma Girl (Bigtime #1) by Jennifer Estep
Paranormal romance released by Berkley 1 May 07
Shannon C. told me I should read Jennifer Estep when I admitted to be a comics sort of girl. I believe I now owe her, because Karma Girl is fabulous and impossible for me not to like. Estep knows comics and it makes her novel that much more joyful. It might be impossible to not be happy when reading Karma Girl, because the author obviously had fun when writing it. Read more

Did you notice Karma Girl has a new cover? Discussion anyone? Is it better or worse than the first one? I've got to say I'm not a fan of the real person on the cover rather than the sort of comic book look of the first one. Of course the new cover is due to the fact that Karma Girl and Hot Mama are getting reissued in mass market in anticipation of the next book in the series, Jinx, being released in September.
