This is the first novel in a series about ACRO, the Agency for Covert Rare Operatives. The series is a mix of erotic romance and adventure and suspense in an alternative universe where the paranormal is not as rare as we might think.
There are a number of intriguing secondary characters, and the world created is complex and compelling, full of possibilities. Read more

Have you ever let a book get pushed off and pushed off? Not for any good reason, you just don’t get to it? When you finally read it did you ever really regret not reading it sooner? Sybil keeps asking me, “Have you read Driven, yet? You’re gonna’ love it!” Do I have to tell her she was right, again, or can we just keep this between us?

Erotic romantic suspense released by Brava 1 Aug 07
Sean McCloud has a little trouble playing well with others. He hasn’t really had much in the way of an example, though. His father was not the most social guy, he lost his mother early on, and his brothers are as messed up as he is. The brothers who are left, that is. His twin was killed 15 years ago. So, Sean doesn’t do relationships anymore. He doesn’t even do coffee the morning after. Though, at one time he thought he would…

Sandy M’s review of Sex and the Psychic Witch (Triplet Witch Trilogy, Book 1) by Annette Blair
Contemporary paranormal romance released by Berkley Sensation 7 Aug 07
I became an instant fan of Annette Blair’s witches with her first book, The Kitchen Witch, back in 2004. Her humor and wit just poured out her witches in every book of that first trilogy and she has not lost her touch one bit starting with Harmony, the oldest of the Cartwright sisters.

Paranormal romance published 1 Aug 07 by Harlequin
I love witch stories. Actually, I want to love witch stories. A pretty underused device in paranormal romance, but the ones I have read veer to much towards the wacky hijinks for my taste. Thankfully, Stripped is a well done witch romance. It was exactly what I want when I pick up a Blaze—a sexy, fun and fast read. Within the shorter category length, Ms. Leto was able to combine an interesting plot, good characters, a believable love story, and a fun dose of the paranormal. Read more

Historical paranormal romance published 7 Aug 07 by Berkley Sensation
The one thing that stands out in this book is that Draven is NOT an all-knowing, all-powerful alpha. He’s vulnerable, tortured, and lacking in confidence. And he craves Faith’s lightness like a dying man in the desert craves water. She makes him look at himself and his magical gifts as a positive gift from God rather than a mark of the Devil as had always been beaten into him. Read more

Sean is the clown of the McCloud family. Always ready with a quip, a joke, and never one to let a good time go unobserved. But, for fifteen years he’s struggled with his twin’s apparent suicide and with the way he pushed out of his life the only woman he ever loved…
