Paranormal/Fantasy Romance published by J.M. Kearl 26 Apr 22
Oh, my god. This is phenomenal. Hands down one of my favorite fantasies. I saw a few people here at Instagram had read this book, and needed something to read on a plane ride. So I downloaded this from KU without really knowing anything, except it’s a fantasy. And, boy, did it not disappoint. This is one of my favorite books now and I need the sequel yesterday!!
REVIEW: When It Falls Apart by Catherine Bybee
Sandy M’s review of When It Falls Apart (D’Angelos, Book 1) by Catherine Bybee
Contemporary Romance published by Montake 21 Jun 22
I’ve wanted to read Catherine Bybee for quite a while now. So when I discovered this is the first book in a new series, I figured now is the time to finally jump in. I’m very glad I did. Aside from the main romance in this story, it’s family that is front and center, especially when the family experience is so very different for the hero and heroine.
REVIEW: Live, Laugh, Kidnap by Gabby Noone
Stevie‘s review of Live, Laugh, Kidnap by Gabby Noone
Contemporary Young Adult Fiction published by Razorbill 29 Mar 22
Being a teenager sucks at times. That feeling that nothing is completely within your control, even when the adults around you are behaving irresponsibly, erratically, or just being plain mysterious for no good reason. Of course, all that feels so much worse when you’re also stuck in a dead-end town in the middle of nowhere with no obvious route to civilisation, as is the case for our three protagonists: Holly, Genesis, and Zoe.
REVIEW: What Happens on Vacation by Brenda Jackson
Veena’s review of What Happens on Vacation (Westmoreland Legacy: The Outlaws, Book 4) by Brenda Jackson
Contemporary Romance published by Harlequin Desire 29 Mar 22
This series by Ms. Jackson is fantastic. Alpha to-die-for men and the feisty women they romance. This one is no exception. Paige Novak was the one that could have made Jessup Outlaw give up his bachelor status and set up a forever ever-after with, but the timing is never right – until finally it is.

REVIEW: Neon Gods by Katee Robert
Kaitlyn‘s review of Neon Gods (Dark Olympus, Book 1) by Katee Robert
Paranormal Romance published by Sourcebooks Casablanca 1 Jun 21
I don’t know, this was entertaining, but I think I liked A Touch of Darkness more. In that they were actual gods and goddesses with powers, which was more fun. Everyone in this was just…human? I’m still not really sure. Was Olympus hidden from the rest of the world? Did the other humans know about it? Where was the magic? Where were the godly powers? I wanted some fantasy in this.
REVIEW: Reason to Believe by Rebecca Yarros
Sandy M’s review of Reason to Believe (Legacy, Book 3) by Rebecca Yarros
Contemporary Romance published by Yarros Ink, Inc. 26 Apr 22
It’s always nice when you take a chance on a new author, love the first book of theirs you read, hope the next however many you dig into are just as good, and then discover your hope is right on the money. Rebecca Yarros is one of those authors for me. Her books are now right up there with my all-time favorites for whom I anxiously await every release day.
