Book Cover Dinca’s review of Love is in the Heir (It’s Reigning Men, Book 4) by Jenny Gardiner
Contemporary Romance published by Jenny Gardiner Books 18 Sep 15

I have got to meet Jenny Gardiner someday. She has to have the best sense of humor ever. Her characters are unique and funny to the very end.

Topher and Pippa have a bad childhood memory they share and cannot live down. Hooking up at the wedding is the last thing they want the family to find out. For a family that tries to keep their personal lives secret, they always know everything.

Pippa has new fears about forming a relationship with Topher. His parents are like family, and his brother is her best friend. Not to mention the most embarrassing moment in her life happened with Topher.

Topher has always had a crush on Pippa, but as the younger brother to her best friend and the wanker of an embarrassing moment, it’s hard to move beyond the point his family will not let him live down.

I loved the setting of this book. Ms. Gardiner took the couple out of the castle and to the beautiful shores of the British Virgin Islands. Two more disasters aboard ship and Topher and Pippa manage to have their HEA. I will definitely keep reading this series.

Grade: A

Summary:

Ya gotta hand it to him…

When the teenaged Duchess Pippa Grimaldi walked in on her best friend’s brother Prince Christopher in a particularly private moment, she about died of embarrassment.

As did Topher, especially when his brother Zander and the rest of his royal siblings then promptly dubbed him the Wanker and never let him live down his public “exposure.”

It seemed the only way he could escape his overwrought reputation was by fleeing Monaforte altogether, which he did for years.

But when he finally returns to the European principality for the wedding of his brother Prince Adrian, Topher finds himself relishing a most unexpected one-night stand with none other than free-spirited Pippa.

And while Topher would like nothing more than to nurture the secret crush he’d had on her for years, she decides the only way to spare him further shaming at the hands of his brothers is to get far, far away from him. Even if being with him stirs feelings she’s never felt with another man.
