Book Cover Dinca’s review of The Nanny Bombshell by Michelle Calmer
Contemporary Romance published by Harlequin Desire 1 Jan 12

I am not interested in Hockey, so I am not sure why I downloaded this book. It must have been the baby thing. If you like your heroes and heroines not quite so perfect, this is the romance for you.

I find I do like the hero, Coop Landon, a lot better than the heroine, Sierra Evans. He really seems to have it together for a playboy jock, when he takes on the monumental task of raising his nieces after his brother and sister-in-law’s death. His big dilemma is trying to find a nanny who is more interested in the twins than in his hot body.

After hearing about the death of her daughter’s adoptive parents, Sierra applies for the job as nanny. No way does she believe their playboy uncles can take care of them. Being their nanny is her only way to make sure they are well cared for.

It is hard to grasp the reality with all the deceit from the characters, both alive and dead. Sierra and Coop must come to terms with the events and the people in their lives and realize that no one is perfect, but you can love them without liking them and the things they do. The confession from Sierra doesn’t come easy and forgiveness is forthcoming. There is a lot to overlook in this tale, but the reality is… nobody is perfect.
