You girls have me in tears this afternoon. I'm so honored to be your confort read author. Thank you.

Wendy, I have to tell you that when I first got the idea for this story, I kept putting it back in a binder and moving on to something else, because the basic concept was so far-fetched. That went on for probably a couple of years - until the desire to tell the story was so strong that I just had to make it work.

And I don't think it could have worked without Wes being the man he is and having the backstory experiences that shaped him.
I am agog at your astute perceptions of every litle nuance of the emotional conflict and personal conflict of the story people.

Smooches.

Ahhhh - I've been waiting to read your review on this one. When you step back and examine this storyline from a analytical kind of angle, one might think this sounds rather unbelievable, but when you are actually immersed in the story, the author does do such a good job of selling it doesn't she?
And I just love the way you describe a Cheryl St. John book!! That's EXACTLY what reading one of her books is like - "a cold winter night, snow falling outside, wrapped in a blanket, cuddled up on the sofa, drinking a mug of hot cocoa."
For me, she's the best in the business at writing this kind of story and I get all mushy inside when I start reading one of her books.
