You know, I really love the world building you did with this series. And I was always fascinated by your creation of the fey language and the distinctive manner of phrasing that was used for Tairen speech.

I love that I can lose myself in the world of the Fey. When I’m at work and things get overwhelming or stressful, I just spin some Spirit-weave and go to the Tairen Soul world and dream about Ellysetta, Rain, and the whole crew. There is just so much to think about and mull over and it never gets old.

I’m on pins and needles for the final book. Like many readers my heart goes out to Ellysetta’s biological parents. Their fate may be the first thing I need to check when Tairen Soul is published!

I’m so glad you enjoyed QUEEN, Has – and thanks so much for joining us here at GBU today for the Duck Chat
My children have been after me for years to write those YA books–the protagonists are a trio of siblings (named after my children, of course) – and my eldest child keeps reminding me, “I get a hot elf boyfriend, Mom!” LOL. I’m looking forward to writing them and watching my kids read them! WINTER KING is a pretty sexy/sensual book. When the Winter King and the daughter of the Royal House of Summerlea get together–it’s pretty combustible combination. I fell in love with the story concept during a Writers Retreat w/friends and the story literally wouldn’t leave me alone until I started writing it. I have some rewrites/culling to do and need to finish the last 1/3 of it, but hopefully it will go (relatively!) quickly! As for Bel and Gaelen–I already know who their mates are. I can’t wait to get to them.

Wee! I love learning more about what is going on in Eloran, and what is going on with Cheryl. I’m glad to hear you are going to write stories for Bel and Gaelen! Weeeee! I know we all expect it, but it’s nice to hear that you have a contract and you HAVE to give it to us! I’m also excited to hear about your YA novel. I love YA novels, so I can see that I will have to keep track of all the things you are writing, even when you move out of the Tairen Soul series.

It was great to read this interview!! I am rereading the whole series from the start before I read Queen, (I bought it the day it came out, but I knew I wouldn’t sleep until I read it so it’s waiting for this weekend.) , and I can’t express how beautiful the books and writing are.
