Hi Elizabeth! I’d heard so much in blog world about Edward in The Raven Prince that while out last weekend I picked it up and since the The Serpent Prince was right next to it – I got that too. I LOVED The Raven Prince and can’t wait to start on the Serpent Prince. My only problem now is I have to wait till the weekend to to get The Leopard Prince!!! Congrats on the new release….

I picked up To Desire A Devil last night and stayed up until 4 am reading, but alas I had to go to bed. LOL! I should finish it tonight and am loving it! You know-some authors can’t do what you have done and that is give 4 characters their own story without giving too much away yet when you tell the next story you don’t retell what you’ve already told.

With regards to Reynaud being the final hero and it being obvious to you-it wasn’t to me and you made me say, “Oh my god!” when I read the preview and that was months ago. So you can imagine how impatient I’ve been for the book release. It’s been worth the wait. Thank you for writing.

Hi Elizabeth, great interview! I love your books. I thought the Prince series was awesome and I can’t wait to read your new series. It was one of my favorited series and Harry Pye still stays with me. I am with you on the large print books. I wish they had more of them. As we get older we don’t see as well. I have had books I just couldn’t read because the print was so small. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing with us today.

Actually, I’m glad you didn’t figure out who the hero of TO DESIRE A DEVIL was, Cheryl C. It felt painfully obviousy to me while writing the books.
It’s true about finding the best surprises when your story goes off the road and into the woods, Eliza E. I hadn’t planned on Lottie (Beatrice’s friend in TDAD) but she showed up as I was writing the first scene.

Hi Elizabeth- I just wanted to drop in and say, I simply adored Harry from The Leopard Prince. There's just something about a common man doing uncommonly manly things that makes a hero "zing" for me. A land stewart hasn't been this sexy since Lady Chatterly's Lover (although I think he was a gamekeeper, close enough). I hope you didn't break the mold after Harry. I also want to commend you on your fascinating characterizations. I know that you have said that the hero is always your main focus (good for us!) but I particularly like that you attribute side interests or quirks to each of your leading men. Simon and his roses, Sam and his running, Vale and his pallet and of course, my favorite, Harry and his animal-whittling ways. These little nuances make a big difference, adds a depth of personality that no description can cover. Love it! I'll be running to Borders this weekend for my copy of TDAD. I have to be honest, I am a bit curious as to how you spun this final tale, Reynaud sounded as good as dead but that's why you do what you do. Good luck with the Maiden Lane series. Jennifer M.

Also, I know what you mean when you say the story sometimes ends up off the road and into the woods. My stories have a tendency to end up three counties over, but I find the best surprises that way.

Hi, Elizabeth. I have truly enjoyed reading the Legend of the Four Soldiers series. I thought it was a clever idea to weave a fairy tale throughout each story. I am looking forward to reading the finale. I must say that I was very surprised when I first found out who the hero of this book was going to be. I never saw it coming!
