As much as I love her westerns, few though they are, her writing is just too good to leave behind for me. Any author who can make me love her characters within a page or two is worth my time. She wrote such poignant and wonderful westerns and when she 'moved' to England, I read her first few. But for me they couldn't compare to her westerns and it was just too sad to read about yet MORE dukes and viscounts etc when she HAD written such gems. I also loved her two comtemporaries and if she wrote more of them or went back to the West, I'd be so there. But as long as she is writing what she is now, I'll stay away. You know who I'm looking forward to reading about? Dr. Graves...he intrigues me.
