Susan - you're very welcome. I love to read a good sci-fi romance. They're complete escapism.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your work!

Gwen, you definitely aren't alone for loving it, and thank you--your great review come to me via a google alert and made my day. My daughter would say I'm a "creeper" for posting here in response lol, but I'll do it anyway! People either loved this one or hated it. I think that if you bonded with the heroine from the get-go, it all worked. If not, it didn't. Very black and white, no in-between. SUREBLOOD (next one) is much more consistent tho it seems, without this same polarizing effect. So that's good, i guess. Thanks again for letting WD sweep you away and don't feel guilty that it did!

I'm with Kristie on this one. Too many storylines, and I also thought the insta love on the part of the h/h made their romance a bit, well, boring. Because I liked Moonstruck and much of her backlist so much I was really disappointed with TWD. But, like Kristie, I am looking forward to Susan Grant's next book.

Oh Kristie, that's too bad! I guess the multiple storylines aren't for everyone. I liked it, but I had no preconceptions going into this book other than "hey - not a goofy title".

I loved, loved, loved Moonstruck, but alas this one was a DNF. I don't like romances where there are multiple story lines and this one just had too much happening in it. I like one main romance with maybe a smaller secondary romance, but this one had 3 going on and as a result, I felt all three didn't get enough attention.
I do love Susan Grant though and I'm looking forward to her next book.
