When I saw you mention Turner's Woman, I thought "why is that name familiar", then I saw my name and realized YOU OWE ME A BOOK! Hehe. I'd completely forgotten about your promise to send it to me. But really I want, want , want it, so don't forget or I'll have to bug you :) I agree completely with Wendy about Cheryl Reavis. Loved the Older Woman and The Long Way Home. I have read all her historicals you and Wendy listed and they were keepers with The Bartered Bride and The Bride Fair my favorites. I have read one Kate Bridges (The Surgeon) and was meaning to try another and those sound good. I'm so late on this whole Great Western Drive. I LUV westerns. I'm trying to catch up with all the posts and my wishlist is growing exponentially.

I have The Midwife's Secret but haven't read it yet. I know so wendy of me ;)

And you are welcome, hey it got some books out of my room as well. Sandy squeee'ed too cuz god knows she needs more books.

I was going to try and finish my reviews for The Redemption of MIcah by Beth Williamson (think you will like it and it has one of my most hated plots, to beat your gold mine, the 'oh noes no memory' but still really good book and I don't recall liking the first in the series much) and Never Love a Lawman but uh I am way too drugged and making less sense than normal.

Even for me. When I can't understand me tis time to unplug. Off to watch The Unborn and hope migraine goes away. lol and I don't od

and yes I want that list *g*

Re: Turner's Woman - I seriously wanted to have that heroine's babies. OMG - LOVED her. And I'm glad you still find my review amusing :)

Cheryl Reavis is one of those rare writers where I enjoy her contemporaries just as much as her historicals. Of her contemporary SSEs - I really liked The Long Way Home and The Older Woman. Of her historicals? I think maybe The Bride Fair is my favorite.

Kate Bridges - One of her early books I really enjoyed was The Midwife's Secret. I still have several of her Mountie books and The Doctor's Homecoming in the TBR because I'm sick like that.

Carolyn Davidson: OMG - you do not want to know how many of her HHs I have. I should just provide you with a list, and you can tell me where I should start LOL
