Hi Jen. I really enjoy your books. I just finished Taboo and I think it is your best book you have written. The cover is lovely as well.

Hi, Jenna! Great interview! I’ve been enjoying your Jess Michaels books and am still collecting your Jenna books (I like to start from the beginning and read through–a little particular that way, I guess ) I’m giggling at your cursing freedom–having kids has definitely put a crimp in that since I find cursing children extremely disturbing (both swearing at them and having children competent at swearing)…

In any event, looking forward to your new series–I can start and be all caught up already

Delurking a bit late for the party. Just wanted to say I love your Jess Michaels books and thought Taboo was your best book to date. I’ll be anxious to see how you can possibly redeem the oh-so-uncharming Beatrice in your next book. I have also started reading your Jenna books and really enjoyed Her Notorious Viscount. Not only do you write great heroes and heroines but I loved the entire supporting cast in HNV. The BB series sounds really interesting. Keep up the good work and write faster

I’ve never read your books but by reading your interview, I assume none of your books have children as characters? They don’t bother me but I have some friends who hate to read a romance that have children in them.

I have never read any of Jenna’s books under either name, but after reading that first chapter I am going to start on my first book by her. I love series books so the first books I will read is From London with Love and I will go on from there.
I am also a fan of erotica so I will be sure to check out the books that are written as Jess.

And Julian, I’ll be starting Caleb and Marah’s book this fall. I think I have the arc of it close to worked out and Caleb has a scene or two in my current work in progress, so it’s been fun to revisit him. I’m not sure about Shaw or Rage, though. I have to sort of get through BIllingham and see where that goes. LOL

The first book that I read was Lessons from Courtesan. Honestly, I really fall in love with Justin Tabolt. When you told in your interview that you wrote Caleb and Victoria’s best friend, I wondered maybe you would write about Justin’s best friend.
Do you have any plan to make that into a book.
In HNV Nicholas also has bestfriend who is also his valet. His character is so interesting. Will you find him a soulmate?
Can you tell me more about Underground at that time? I am so curious about that when you mentioned that because I only think that there is no stuff like drugs, boxer and etc. What a hard life is that.
Thanks jenna for writting such a great book. I still remember exactly every scene in “LFC”.

Hmm, I wrote a response and it vanished. LOL So I can’t really write a story in any way except to tell the story the way it needs to be told. So I can’t think, “I can’t do this because that’s more ‘Jess’ than Jenna.” Otherwise I’d stifle my creativity and the needs of the book. Jess stories are really very similar to Jenna, they’re just written with a sexual conflict at their core.

You know, I’m able to keep Jenna and Jess fairly seperate. Now I REALLY can’t wait for the BB series to come out! Thanks for clearing up my confusion about the Victorian vs Regency periods. As you can see, I don’t know much about those eras. But I’m learning…thanks to books like yours, which seem to stay true to the times the stories are written therein. Kudos for keeping your work authentic.

Hi Armenia — I’m so glad you enjoyed EVERYTHING FORBIDDEN and SOMETHING RECKLESS. I have a new release (May 2009) that while isn’t officially part of the Albright series, it does take place in the Albright world. Ethan and Miranda from EVERYTHING FORBIDDEN make an appearance, too! It’s called TABOO.

Suprina — Victorian actually doesn’t start until 1837, so a bit later than my books, which are Regency. And actually inheritence of money and title was limited only to legitimate heirs. I think you’ll see why Simon is interested in finding his brothers once you read the book.

I look forward to your BB series. I keep wondering why this Duke would want to find his illegitimate brothers. Was he lonely? Especially since doing so means having to split the inheritance. Or did the pot of gold only go to the legal kids back then? *sighing* Wish I knew more about Victorian mores.
