I must say this is a great review. I myself loved the book. It left me craving the next installment, which will be Emma and Jacks story.

Bed of Roses

Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it’s really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. She gets to play with flowers every day and work with her three best friends in the process. She couldn’t ask for a better job…

And on the surface, Emma’s love life seems to be thriving. Slim and sultry, she brings color into every room she enters, just like the arrangements she creates. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn’t found Mr. Right. And the last place she’s looking is right under her nose.

I believe Laurel and Del are next, and then Parker. I could see her with a prospective groom, or Nora just might bring back the CBBM (Cheating Bastard Best Man) Donny… That would be wicked.

I love Nora Roberts’ books! And it will be fun to read a straight long contemporary. It seems, in these demon days, they are a bit hard to find. Cheers to NR for writing them.

I assume that whomever gets Parker will be introduced in the next book. He’ll probably be a friend of Jack or Del’s. It would make it interesting if he’s a prospective groom that uses Vows.

Hmm, if Emma is going to be with Jack, that means that Laurel will get Del. Since this is a quartet though, so Parker will get her book too and her guy has yet to be seen.

I really enjoyed Nora Roberts return to her contemporary roots. For the last several years NR has concentrated on romantic suspense and the paranormal, so It was great to read a simple contemporary romance.

Carter was so sweet in this book that I didn’t mind that he was more beta than alpha. It’s not often that we get a hero who’s a little bit clumsy and clueless.

Usually NR has three heroes and three heroines, so we pretty much know which character will be matched up with whom. Here, we’re somewhat unsure who gets Jack and Del. However, I just read over on another site that Jack is definitely being paired with Emma, so I look forward to Bed of Roses.
