Sandy, gosh yes. I don't want this book to end. The more I read the more I love Ian and want to read more about him. I only have 1/4 of the the book left to go, so sad.

Tabitha, is this one of those books that you don't want to put down because you have to know what happens next, but then again you want to slow the reading down so that the book will last so much longer? When I got to the end myself, I wished it had been just as thick as any Diana Gabaldon book!

I purchased this book today, intending to read it during my commute to and from work tomorrow but I couldn't resist and started on the book. I am about halfway through the novel and have to say that this book is so good. Wow. I did not expect to enjoy this book so much even after having read all the rave reviews on this book. So far I have laughed and teared. Ian is a wonderful hero and I know will be a memorable hero for me for years to come. I can't wait to finish this book yet I know I will be antsy for Mac & Isabella's story which is still a long way to come!

I adored this one too and it also got top marks from me. I loved the way Beth was with Ian - she just took everything in stride. And not for a moment did she loose any of her faith in him. I loved that about her. And Ian - wasn't he just an incredible hero? I don't have the words to describe how precious he was.

I've never read a Jennifer Ashley book before, but this one sounds like the place to start. A favorite television character has Asperger's, so I suspect I'll be picturing him as I read the book (this is not something I normally do), which can only enhance the reading experience for me. Kudos to Jennifer for writing a different kind of hero; as a long-time romance reader, I sometimes need by knight-in-shining-armor to have a few "quirks" :)

I have a post-it on my computer with the title/author name/and date of release (May 2)--it's the only book on my to-buy list at the moment.

I'm really excited about reading this one--not just because of the buzz, but because the hero sounds awesome and he's paired with a worthy heroine by all accounts. Ms. Ashley does write historical/mysteries, so I expect that aspect of the book will also be satisfactory.

i also just ordered Megan Chance's The Portrait, so I might hold end up reading them back to back. ::wiggle::

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, Marg. One of the best I've read in a long time, one that I won't forget for a much longer time.
