Ding, ding, ding! Holly nailed it exactly. I wasn’t bothered by the mermaid thing. Something about her being all tiny was creepy though.

Yep, I was squicked out also. Not for the same reason as others I talked to, though.

A lot of other people I talked to were squicked out by them having sex when she was in Mermaid form. That didn’t bother me, though. What bothered me was when she was riding his penis like it was a freaking mechanical bull while in pixie form. And when he tried to “penetrate” her with his smallest finger “which was still too big”? O.M.G. How bout no?

Otherwise I liked the book, but the whole thing moved really slow for me. She definitely pushed the envelope..I just wish she’d have pushed it at a faster pace. It took me a total of 13 hours to read it. I read Breaking Dawn, a 700+ page book, in about 5. Puts things in perspective, doesn’t it?
