Every kid loves a good party and Saturday, Sept. 27, Borders and Waldenbooks stores across the country
are throwing open their doors to welcome kids and their families for the retailer’s first ever nationwide free “Kids Party.”
~ From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. kids everywhere are sure to have a great time listening to stories, singing songs, playing games, coloring to their hearts’ delight, plus much more!
~ “Borders and Waldenbooks offer a great selection of kids books, movies, and music, as well as kids-focused events all year around, yet Borders wants
to re-invigorate the idea that books and a trip to the bookstore can be really fun and exciting for kids,” Borders announced.
~ This first-ever nationwide ‘Kids Party’ will truly be a wonderful community event where families can gather for an afternoon filled with engaging activities centered around books,” said Diane Mangan, merchandising director for Borders Group.
~ While the kids are involved in their activities, parents can take the opportunity to get some early holiday shopping done or simply enjoy the “Kids Party” activities with their children.
