Jennifer, the first book in the series is Enchanting the Lady.

She spells Kathryn with an “e” at the end, so that might have been why you couldn’t find her!

You actually don’t have to read them in order, but I think you’d get a better sense of the magical world she’s created if you do. Just makes it more fun!
