		<description><![CDATA[Gwen, I totally agree with your assessment of &lt;em&gt;Desperate Duchesses&lt;/em&gt;. I think I read it around reading week as a 1L and haven&#039;t read it since. I remember thinking a lot of &lt;strong&gt;???&lt;/strong&gt; - but it does set the groundwork for all the subsequent characters in the other novels. The third is my favorite so far - wondering about &lt;em&gt;Return of the Duke&lt;/em&gt; - but I really want Villier&#039;s story.]]></description>
