I'll have to see if I can find those books... I <em>might</em> have read <em>The Wicked Marquis</em> - but not the other ones... and they're pretty much impossible to find. I have to be in the right mood to read BC, but every so often, it's just so entertaining. Thanks for your suggestions! I grew up devouring Cartland novels and, I must say, you are RIGHT ON THE MONEY about all those damn ellipses! (LOL: Eight ellipses on a single page might actually be a CONSERVATIVE figure!) Even as a kid, I couldn't figure out why supposedly intelligent heroines couldn't manage to speak in COMPLETE SENTENCES. You might also want to check out these Cartland if you haven't come across them already: "The Wicked Marquis" (my favorite), "Journey to Paradise", "A Light to the Heart" and "The Little Pretender".
