Hi Kris – I thought the exact same thing. I would have enjoyed it a lot more – but didn’t find the heroine extremely likable. Not that I didn’t like her – but there was something a bit … I don’t know- she was off. Some had to do with her being selkie – but… eh. I hope you enjoy it.

[Er, that should also read "have huge adorable eyes" - for the seals bit.]

I have read the excerpt for this one and it sounded interesting.
