Do U SSE?

April 5, 2008

Are you a Reader of the Silhouette Special Edition line? Are you one of their authors?

If so you really should email me... just saying... no really and like yesterday.

And on that note anyone ever read Judy Duarte? No there is still no date set for Jessica Bird's next book. But she swears she will let us know AS soon AS THE DATES ARE SET.

    WOW!

So that is a whole lot of people who are going to be trying the SSE line this month!

    WOOT!

Any suggestions beside Jessica Bird and Karen Templeton? Cuz those are the ones EVERYONE will try I am sure *g*

I read some SSEs - I'm a big fan of Jessica Bird - but I also like Susan Mallery, Michelle Celmer, Kristi Gold, and I've read one by Lynda Sandoval that I really liked.

I like Michelle Celmer as well. Hmmm...

  4. Sybil on April 3rd, 2008 6:24 pm

    hmmmm

Celmer? Never read her. Gold I have read I think a few desires. and Sandy M loved Lynda Sandoval.

    I *heart* SSEs.

Since Karen T's been recommended, another really great SSE author is Kristin Hardy.

  6. Shannon Stacey on April 4th, 2008 3:49 pm

    Oh, and Patricia McLinn!

  7. Devon on April 4th, 2008 4:22 pm

    Thanks for the recs, Shannon.

My personal favorite author is Susan Mallery

  9. Sybil on April 5th, 2008 11:08 am

Ohhhh Danny Susan is ROCKing good time isn't she?

And I BEGGED I did! Nope, she wouldn't come play (silly deadline excuse...) I know shocked me too. sniff... but tis okay she will here over the summer and we will talk HQN and her sweet upcoming trilogy *g*

Absolutely Sybil, she has been on auto-buy author list for ages. No matter if SSE or her HQN titles. I am so looking forward to read her new trilogy and fortunately I am in the States when they are released. I am so happy that I won't have to wait

I love SSE!!! And I always read Judy Duarte. In fact, when I was a reviewer for eCataromance, I reviewed her books. :-)

BTW- Celmer does Desire books mostly I think. Susan Mallery's sheiks are my all time FAVE. Sheiks baby!

  13. Devon on April 6th, 2008 11:13 am

Hi Anne! Judy Duarte's new one looks good. Maybe we'll hear from her eventually...

I read a Michelle Celmer SSE I liked, but when I poked around her site, she does seem to be primarily Desire. Not my favorite line. We'll have to keep her in mind for SD month.

  14. Devon on April 6th, 2008 11:14 am

If I hear any more raves about Mallery, I may acually end up reading a sheik book!

  15. Danny on April 6th, 2008 2:03 pm

Devon, you won't be disappointed. Her books are great, especially her Sheik stories

  16. Sybil on April 6th, 2008 6:33 pm

Devon you will want to read her HQN books! Or she does have some SSE's that AREn't Sheiks but I do admit I will read her Sheiks :)

I bought the Judy D book and noticed I did have a MC book in the TBR and Kate Little's Baby on the Run looks good so I had to get it.

    HAD too!

I'd add Marie Ferrarella, Kristin Hardy and Linda Lael Miller as some of my must read SSE authors.

Got something to say?
