For a fact, Private Arrangements is one of this year’s most talked about books. And while that normally means it’s awful, I’m happy to say that isn’t the case for this one. :) And that, my dear friends, is why Sherry is guesting today because the book really is THAT GOOD.
It is always a fear of mine that when a book is built up so much, there is no way it can live up to the hype. So when I read this forever and a day ago I was beyond excited to realize it was great. And emailed her I think a year ago and said “you have to guest.”
Ten to one she thought I was insane, most likely she still does.
Stick around and meet the author. Learn a bit more about the book and than tomorrow when you buy it keep your receipt because I need it. Yep… more on that in a min. (And shit I knew I was forgetting to do something. GWEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Either my brain now interprets Sybilish as being quite reasonable (scary thought, that), or I am reading the After-Gwen-translated-it version.
Anyway, between Alicia’s review and this freakin’ entertaining trailor (one of the most effective I’ve seen), I have to admit that I WANT to read this book… NOW!

Bev – you’re reading the translation. The first version was, shall we say, rife with Sybilisms? I had to IM her to get her to help me translate. THAT was an IM conversation I wish I had saved.

PHEW! I read that post like 4 times trying to figure out why Azteclady needed it translated. Twas scary when I thought Sybilish seemed normal to me.
Twas even more scary to hear that even YOU couldn’t translate the original!

. Normally I hate book trailers, but this was great. I’m so sad I missed out on all the awesome Sherry Thomas prizes. I was/am super sick. Feel like I died, and some very not-talented magician revived me. Badly. At least I can read over everything today, since I’ve already called off on all 3 jobs this wk
