Yes, I rolled out a new website in the middle of February. The old template clashed something awful with the color of my cover. And we can’t have that, can we?

Oh, and I also wanted to mention that my sister used to read romance novels years ago. Hasn’t read them for about 15 years (Harlequin & Silhouette). She only reads non-fiction now. Metaphysical stuff. I loaned her my ARC of PA and she devoured it in a day. Stayed up until 2 in the morning. And this a woman who has never been interested in reading historicals.

I was lucky enough to be one of the few to snag an ARC of this book at last year’s RWA conference. I was going to give it away in a contest on my blog like I usually do with most of my book freebies from contests, but I was so blown away by the gorgeous cover and so intrigued by the advance press and the storyline…

I’m keeping it. It’s mine. Forevah.

I read this book last year, and I would have given it an A+. It’s a wonderful book, not just a wonderful debut. She has a fantastic voice and if this is the trend in historicals, I am so there.

I’ve been hearing about this book for awhile, and cannot wait to read it. I haven’t been this impatient for a historical since Bourne’s “The Spymaster’s Lady”.
