I throughly enjoyed this book! raced through it exceptionally fast, this is written so well that when you read it, the words disappear and all you see is the story.

Really really really good book. It sold me on the first person, present tense. I honestly had my doubts, because I hadn’t been able to finish books in first person narrative in ages, but Ann pulls it off beautifully.

Second, I’m glad you enjoyed it too, Laura.

Finally, this is a series. There are two more Jax books in the pipeline, and I have plot enough for at least six total. The relationship between Jax and March is complex, as Leslie noted. I’ll draw a parallel to Eve and Roarke in terms of how the relationship evolves over the course of the books.

This book looks like a “must read” to me. I went and looked at Wunderlust, though, and it has the same heroine (am I right, here?) so that begs the question: Is the “rushed” ending just a temporary ending? Are the H/H continuing the romance in the second book where we get a more satisfying HEA? Is the next book a resolution for these two? Or is the next book not exactly a romance because the romance has already resolved?

I totally agree with this review!! Very good book and I’m not a big fan of sci-fi or first person but Ann has done a fabulous job of creating this futuristic world that I will want to visit again. She has a sequal to this book called Wunderlust, but I’m not sure of the release date for book 2.
